Introduction

SPRAYE’s Renewal Wizard helps you renew customers quickly and accurately. Whether you want simple auto-renewals or interactive renewal estimates, this guide explains how to prepare your account and decide which workflow to use.

To view an in-depth walk-through of the entire process, we highly recommend watching the following webinar recording:

What the Renewal Wizard Does

The Wizard helps you:

  • Copy or create your new programs for the new season

  • Renew customers to updated programs

  • Offer prepay options

  • Send interactive estimates

  • Apply upsells and upgrades

  • Update pricing and overrides

  • Exclude specific customers or segments

You will choose one of two renewal paths:

Renewal Path Options

Path 1: Auto-Renew (No Estimates)

Use this path if you want to renew customers without sending estimates or offering prepays.

>> See this article on auto-renewals for full instructions.

Path 2: Renewal Estimates (Recommended)

Use this path if you want to send customers renewal estimates that include updated pricing, prepays, and optional upsells.

>> See this article on renewing with interactive estimates for full instructions.

Before You Begin (Checklist)

Make sure to:

  • Review prepays from 2025

  • Clean up 2025 jobs and estimates

  • Update 2026 pricing in the Services list

  • Tag customers who should NOT be renewed

  • Make sure your 2026 programs exist

>> See the full end-of-year checklist

Creating or Copying 2026 Programs

You must create or copy all 2026 programs before running renewals.

Copying Inside the Renewal Wizard (Recommended)

  1. Start the Wizard

  2. Select “I need to create programs”

  3. Choose all programs that you used last year that you will also offer this year (even if you aren't automatically renewing them).

  4. Rename them using a clear format like:
2026 Essentials – Pay As You Go

This method does not pull customers over automatically, which prevents mistakes.

Copying Programs Outside the Wizard (Legacy Method)

Only use this method if:

  • You don’t plan to send estimates

  • You don’t plan to offer prepays

  • You want customers copied over immediately

This method pulls customers automatically into the new program.

Naming New Programs

Use clear, consistent naming such as:

2026 Essentials Pay-As-You-Go 2026 Essentials Prepay 2026 Premium Program PAYG

Understanding the Two Renewal Paths

  • Auto-Renew = No estimates, no prepays options, no need to pull price overrides from previous estimates, no need to offer prepay discounts

  • Estimate Renewal = Customer selects options and accepts online
