Thank you for participating in Early Access for SPRAYE Monthly Installments.
This Early Access release is designed to let you begin offering Monthly Installments to new customers and new enrollments going forward.
What to Use Early Access For
You can use Monthly Installments when enrolling a customer into a new Monthly Installment plan in SPRAYE.
During Early Access, we especially want feedback on:
Creating and configuring Monthly Installment programs.
Enrolling customers.
Selecting the installment start date.
Customer enrollment communications.
Collecting payment methods.
Monthly payment processing.
Payment receipts and failures.
Viewing and managing active Monthly Installment plans.
How Monthly Installments interact with services, credits and account activity.
Do Not Convert Existing Monthly-Billing Customers Yet
During Early Access, please do not use the new feature to move customers who are already partway through an existing monthly-payment arrangement into Monthly Installments.
This includes customers who are currently:
Using an existing SPRAYE monthly-billing workaround.
Being charged manually each month.
Being charged through another payment system.
Partway through an installment plan that began in another CRM.
We are building additional migration tools specifically for these situations.
Those tools need to account for how much the customer has already paid, where they are in their current program and what services remain.
For now, we recommend allowing existing arrangements to finish and moving those customers to the new Monthly Installments feature as part of their next renewal whenever practical.
Enrollment Emails During Early Access
When you enroll a customer in Monthly Installments, SPRAYE sends the customer a Monthly Installment enrollment confirmation.
The email is sent when you enroll the customer, even if their first payment will not be charged until a future date.
If the customer does not have a payment method on file, the communication will direct them to add one.
Because this is a required Monthly Installment communication, it is different from the optional notification that can be sent when a normal program is assigned.
Be Careful When Removing and Re-Enrolling Plans
During Early Access, removing a Monthly Installment enrollment and then creating it again may cause the customer to receive another enrollment communication.
Avoid repeatedly creating and removing live customer enrollments unless you are intentionally testing that behavior.
Mid-Season Company Migrations Are Not Yet Supported
Specialized onboarding functionality for companies moving into SPRAYE partway through an existing season is still being developed.
That future workflow is expected to handle situations such as:
Customers who have already made several monthly payments elsewhere.
Programs in which some rounds were completed before the company began using SPRAYE.
Carrying forward an existing Monthly Installment financial position.
Building and reviewing the migrated plans before customer communications are sent.
These migration tools are not part of the initial Early Access release.
Early Access should therefore be used for new Monthly Installment enrollments rather than reconstructing existing plans.
